Ingredients
All purpose flour (maida) - 4 tablespoon ( 1 tblsp - 15 ml)
banana - 1 / 2 ( I used dole - long variety banana)
cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
nutmeg powder - 1/4 tsp
baking soda - 1/4 tsp
baking powder - 1/4 tsp
fine sugar - 2 tblsp
oil - 2 tblsp
chocolate chips - for decoration
whisked egg (beaten egg) - 2 tblsp ( 1 egg is too much, 2 tblsp is just right)
Method:
- Mash the banana and add oil , 2 tblsp of whisked egg and sugar to it. Mix well
- take another bowl. mix these together - all purpose flour, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, baking soda and baking powder
- Now whisk mashed banana mix and flour mix.
- apply butter or oil on the inner sides of a coffee mug
- transfer the mixture to the coffee mug
- microwave it for 3 minutes ( you may have to keep for additional 30 seconds - 1 minute. It depends on your microwave. I have 1000w microwave oven. )
- It will start to crown over the top of the mug. No need to worry, it will not overflow. It will subside a little once the heat stops.
- Transfer to a plate and garnish it with chocolate chips. (Garnishing is optional)
- If you want a fudgier version, omit egg.
