Green pepper[ long varieties (bajji milagai) ] / capsicum fry



Ingredients (serves for 2)


Green peppers (long varieties - bajji milagai) - 4 (you can also use capsicum)
grated coconut - 8 - 10 tsp
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
oil - 5 -6 tsp
salt - as needed

Method:


  • cut the back side of green pepper, take out the seeds and make a hole
  • grind coconut and cumin seeds coarsely  
  • apply salt on the inner side of green pepper using your finger
  • fill the hole with the grinded coconut mixture
  • heat a heavy bottomed vessel with oil and add the stuffed green pepper
  • sprinkle salt over it and cook it for 5 - 10 mins
  • once it is cooked, color of it will get changed and it will get shrinked.
  • serve it with More kuzhambu or any dal type curries.
