Beans poriyal



Ingredients (serves for 2)


Beans (chopped) - 1 1/2 cup (1 cup  size = 150 ml)
green chilli - 2 -3 nos
grated coconut - 2 tsp
oil - 1 tsp
salt - as needed
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp


Method:




  • slit the green chilli lengthwise.
  • heat oil in a vessel and add mustard seeds, urad dal and green chillies.
  • saute it for a minute and add the chopped beans, salt.
  • sprinkle little water on it and close it with the lid for 4 - 5 mins.
  • once the beans gets cooked, add the grated coconut and switch off the flame after 2 - 3 mins.
